Ecclestone Wins U.K. Lawsuit Over Formula One Stake Sale

Formula One Chief Executive Officer Bernie Ecclestone won a U.K. lawsuit over allegations that bribes were paid to facilitate the 2005 sale of shares in the racing series.

German media company Constantin Medien AG said in a trial last year that Ecclestone bribed a German banker to ensure F1 was sold to private equity firm CVC Capital Partners Ltd, and the deal undervalued its stake.
