Flooding Hits Vineyards South of Bordeaux, Decanter.com Reports

Heavy rain in the Bordeaux region has produced flooding in some low-lying vineyards, particularly in the area around Langoiran, near the Garonne river south of the city, Decanter.com said.

Vineyards along the river, and some slightly beyond, have been affected, Decanter.com cited Youmna Asseily, winemaker at Chateau Biac, as saying. Biac itself was unaffected because of its elevated position, Decanter.com said.
