Sabesp Seeks Bids on Sao Paulo Wastewater Works, BNamericas Says

The Sao Paulo state water utility Sabesp is seeking bids for a 392 million-real ($162 million) project to install wastewater pipelines as part of a cleanup of the Tiete River, BNamericas said, citing procurement documents.

The fourth phase of an almost $2 billion cleanup project in the Anhangabau region is aimed at improving wastewater collection and treatment in metropolitan Sao Paulo to 95 percent and 93 percent, respectively, for works due to finish by 2020, according to the report.
