Clippers’ Chris Paul to Miss Six Weeks With Separated Shoulder

Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul will miss as much as six weeks with a separated right shoulder, meaning he might be out until after the National Basketball Association’s All-Star break.

Paul, who leads the NBA with 11.2 assists a game, was injured during the Clippers’ Jan. 3 win over Dallas. He won’t require surgery, the team said in a statement.

Paul is also averaging 19.6 points and 4.6 rebounds a game this season for the Clippers, who are tied for the lead in the Western Conference’s Pacific Division with a 23-13 record. The NBA’s All-Star break is Feb. 14-16.
