DBJ, Other Banks to Lend 19.5 Billion Yen for Sojitz Solar Plant

Development Bank of Japan Inc. and six other Japanese banks will provide a 19.5 billion yen ($187 million) loan for a solar power plant developed by Sojitz Corp.

DBJ and the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Ltd. serve as arrangers of the loan for the 71-megawatt plant in the northern prefecture of Aomori, DBJ said in a statement today. Other banks in the group include Aomori Bank and the Bank of Iwate, according to the statement.

The station will be completed by the end of 2016, Sojitz, a Tokyo-based trading company, said in August.

Before it's here, it's on the Bloomberg Terminal.
