Argentine Inflation Jumped to 26.8%, Fastest Since 2011

Inflation in Argentina accelerated at the fastest pace in more than two years last month, according to private estimates, helping fuel deadly protests in Latin America’s second-biggest economy.

Inflation quickened to 26.8 percent from a year earlier, according to a monthly survey of analysts published by opposition lawmakers. Prices rose 2.4 percent in November from October, according to the report. The government, which says prices are rising about 10.5 percent annually, will publish its November report tomorrow.
