Seven Seas Seeks Approval for Chile Desalination Project

Seven Seas Water Corp., a Florida water company that operates in the Caribbean and Latin America, is seeking environmental approval to build a water desalination project in northern Chile.

The reverse-osmosis plant near the city of Caldera would treat seawater and industrial processed water from the Bahia Caldera Fishery to produce about 93 liters (24.5 gallons) of water a second in its first phase, Tampa-based Seven Seas said today in an e-mailed statement.

Before it's here, it's on the Bloomberg Terminal.
