Former New York Yankees pitcher Phil Hughes agreed to a three-year contract worth $24 million with the Minnesota Twins, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reported, citing a person familiar with the negotiations.

Hughes, 27, won 4 games while losing 14 for the Yankees last season.

He has a 56-50 record over his seven-year Major League Baseball career.
