Apple’s share of the smartphone business in China is shrinking as a half-dozen local vendors emerge to take a bite out of the market. They’re using social media and tapping into local brand loyalty to build share. Lenovo and Xiaomi have had success selling cheap, feature-loaded smartphones priced well below the iPhone.
