Kaneka’s Solar Power Plant Starts Operations in Central Japan

Kaneka Corp., a Japanese maker of synthetic resins, said its 12.7 megawatt solar power plant in central Japan began operations on Oct. 1.

The plant in Ibaraki prefecture uses thin-film silicon modules produced by Kaneka, the Osaka-based company said today in a statement.
