Former BTA Bank Chairman Mukhtar Ablyazov, who’d been in hiding since last year until his arrest yesterday, will remain in southern France as Ukraine seeks his extradition.
Ablyazov will either remain in custody or be released on bail with an electronic tracking bracelet, according to a statement on his Facebook page after a hearing today. Extradition wasn’t discussed, according to the statement
