Obama Urges Netanyahu to Work With U.S. to Restart Peace Talks

President Barack Obama urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today to keep working with Secretary of State John Kerry on reopening Middle East peace talks, according to a White House statement.

The two leaders spoke by telephone today that the White House described as part of their regular consultations.

Obama and Netanyahu also discussed recent developments in Egypt, Iran and Syria, the White House said in the statement, without elaborating.
