As far as B-School graduation gifts go, it’s hard to beat a Mercedes from Jay-Z.

Roc Nation Sports, the sports agency started by the hip-hop mogul in April, surprised new client and Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business graduate Skylar Diggins with just that over the weekend.

The school’s undergraduate commencement ceremony took place Sunday, and Diggins, still in her gown, came out to a parking lot to find the car topped with a red bow. In April, the graduate was picked third in the WNBA draft by the Tulsa Shock. Days later, Roc Nation announced it had signed Diggins as one of its first clients. Both Diggins and Roc Nation posted photos of the gift to their Instagram accounts, with Diggins later tweeting, “I got 99 problems, but a BENZ ain’t one.”

The former business student has the distinction of being the only player in Notre Dame history—male or female—to register 2,000 points, 500 rebounds and assists, and 300 steals. She was a management-entrepreneurship major, according to her profile on the university’s athletics website. Bloomberg Businessweek ranks Mendoza the country’s No. 1 undergraduate business program.
