BC Partners Agrees to Buy Allflex From Electra for $1.3 Billion

BC Partners Ltd., a London-based private-equity firm, agreed to buy Allflex Holdings in a deal valuing the maker of identity tags for animals at about $1.3 billion, including debt.

Electra will reap about $398 million in gross proceeds from the sale, the seller said in a statement today. Electra had valued Allflex, its largest investment, at about 154 million pounds ($240 million) as of Sept. 30.
