Italian Two-Year Notes Rise, Yields Drop to Record-Low 1.068%

Italian government bonds advanced, with the two-year note yield dropping as much as nine basis points to 1.068 percent at 8:36 a.m. London time, the lowest since Bloomberg began tracking the data in 1993.

Italian 10-year yields fell seven basis points, or 0.07 percentage point, to 3.84 percent, the lowest since October 2010. Spanish 10-year bond yields dropped five basis points to 4.09 percent, also the least since October 2010, with two-year note yields dropping 13 basis points to 1.60 percent, the lowest since April 2010.
