Israeli Buyer Said to Seek 100,000 Tons of Corn, Also Feed Wheat

Sherutei Bar Grains Import Ltd., an Israeli importer, is seeking 100,000 metric tons of corn, as well as feed wheat and barley, according to a tender document obtained by Bloomberg.

The company is seeking a 20,000-ton cargo and two 40,000-ton shipments of corn on behalf of its customers for delivery between May 5 and Aug. 10, depending on the origin, the document showed. Sherutei is also seeking 60,000 tons of feed wheat and 20,000 tons of barley for delivery between May and July, it showed.

The bids are due by April 23 for grain from Europe, the Black Sea region and South America, according to the document.
