Czech Inspectors Find Horse DNA in Meatballs for Ikea Stores

Czech inspectors found undeclared traces of horse DNA in meatballs destined for outlets of the Swedish furniture maker and retailer Ikea Group, the State Veterinary Office said.

The meatballs were produced in Sweden, spokesman Josef Duben said in an e-mailed statement from Prague today. Ikea officials in Sweden did not immediately comment when contacted by Bloomberg News.
