Texas Christian Upsets No. 5 Kansas 62-55 for First Big 12 Win

Texas Christian University upset the fifth-ranked University of Kansas 62-55 to get its first win in a Big 12 Conference college basketball contest.

Garlon Green scored 20 points and Nate Butler Lind added 10, while Connell Crossland had eight points and 15 rebounds for the Horned Frogs at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas.

Ben McLemore led the Jayhawks with 15 points and Jeff Withey contributed 12 points.

The Horned Frogs improved to 10-12 overall and 1-8 in the Big 12. Kansas fell to 19-3 overall and 7-2 in the conference.
