Barclays Asia Sales Trading Head Norris Said to Plan Departure

Jan. 28 (Bloomberg) -- Jeremy Norris, co.’s head of equity sales trading in Asia, will leave later this year, two people with knowledge of the matter said.

* Norris, based in H.K., will leave after transition period,

the people said, asking not to be identified as the

information is private * Norris is retiring from industry, his pending departure

isn’t part of recent job cuts at Barclays in Asia * Norris declined to comment on his plans, referring call to

co. spokesmen; Timothy Cuffe, a Barclays spokesman in H.K.

declined to comment * NOTE: Norris joined Barclays in April 2010, according to a

statement at the time; He was previously with CLSA Asia- Pacific Markets as global head of equities trading
