No. 2 Hoosiers Win After Louisville Loses in College Basketball

Second-ranked Indiana University beat Northwestern University 67-59 in men’s college basketball a day after No. 1 Louisville lost 70-68 to Syracuse.

The road victory at Welsh-Ryan Arena in Evanston, Illinois, lifts the Hoosiers to 16-2 and 4-1 in Big Ten Conference play. The Wildcats drop to 11-8 and 2-4 in the Big Ten.

Cody Zeller led Indiana with 21 points and 13 rebounds, while Reggie Hearn had a game-high 22 points for Northwestern.
