‘Hunger Games’ Is No. 1 Again With $33.1 Million in Receipts

“The Hunger Games” was the top film for a third-straight weekend in U.S. and Canadian theaters over the Easter holiday, beating a 3-D makeover of James Cameron’s Oscar-winning epic “Titanic.”

“The Hunger Games” generated $33.1 million in weekend sales, researcher Box-Office said today in an e-mailed statement. “American Reunion,” the fourth film in the “American Pie” series, opened second with $21.5 million, and “Titanic” took in $17.3 million to finish third.
