AT&T Lawsuit Challenges FCC Changes to Subsidy Program

AT&T Inc. sued the Federal Communications Commission over changes to a subsidy program to fund the extension of high-speed Internet service to an estimated 18 million Americans who lack broadband access.

AT&T filed its challenge today in the U.S. Court of Appeals in Washington, saying the FCC exceeded its authority and abused its discretion while overhauling the program.
