Standard & Poor’s declined to comment on a Financial Times report that the credit ratings company will put Germany, France, the Netherlands, Austria, Finland, and Luxembourg on “creditwatch negative.”
John Piecuch, a spokesman for S&P in New York, said the ratings company had no comment.
