Lagarde’s Salary Is $467,940, Net of Income Taxes, IMF Says

The International Monetary Fund said its new managing director, Christine Lagarde, will receive an annual salary of $467,940 net of income taxes and told her to “observe the highest standards of ethical conduct.”

The IMF released the terms and conditions of Lagarde’s employment today, her first day on the job. She was scheduled to meet with IMF management and directors and to hold a town hall meeting with staff today. She will hold a news conference tomorrow at the fund’s headquarters in Washington.
