Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd. and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration urged a federal judge to dismiss a lawsuit filed by Mylan Inc. challenging one company’s exclusive rights to begin selling copies of the cholesterol pill Lipitor later this year.
