Nokia Siemens Says Received China Approval for Motorola Deal

Nokia Siemens Networks said it has received unconditional approval from China’s Ministry of Commerce for its acquisition of assets from Motorola Solutions Inc., removing the last major block to the deal.

“There are still a few conditions relating to the legal niceties that need to be fulfilled,” Nokia Siemens spokesman Ben Roome said by telephone. The company aims to close the deal on April 29, he said.
