Three Fukushima No. 3 Reactor Workers Exposed to Radiation

Three workers at Tokyo Electric Power Co.’s Fukushima Dai-Ichi No. 3 reactor were exposed to radiation and two were taken to the hospital, Japan’s nuclear safety agency said.

The workers were irradiated at levels between 170 and 180 millisieverts per hour while laying a cable, Hidehiko Nishiyama, a spokesman for the agency, said today. The incident occurred around 12:09 p.m. local time today, Nishiyama said.
