E.ON AG, Germany’s biggest utility, increased carbon dioxide emissions from its power generation plants by 1.5 percent last year.
Emissions totaled 116.7 million metric tons last year, while the company’s carbon intensity fell 0.5 percent to 0.419 metric tons per megawatt-hour, Dusseldorf-based E.ON said today in its earnings report.
