Labour Leader Attacks Bankers in Bid for Center Ground

U.K. opposition leader Ed Miliband said his Labour Party must become the voice of voters in “the real centre ground” of politics, who feel squeezed economically and are frustrated by the rewards bankers pay themselves.

Capitalizing on a win in a parliamentary special election, Miliband said in a speech he was “angry” at the actions of some bankers and at the coalition government’s refusal to act against them.
