Softbank Said to Plan Sale of 55 Billion Yen of Bonds Next Week

Softbank Corp., Japan’s third-biggest wireless carrier, plans to sell about 55 billion yen ($663 million) of bonds, according to a person with direct knowledge of the transaction.

The carrier plans to sell at least 35 billion yen of five-year bonds, and at least 10 billion yen of seven-year notes, said the person, asking not to be identified as the information is private.
