At Rotman, One Quarter Down, Seven To GoStephanie Erb
It has been exactly seven weeks and two days since I began my first year in the full-time MBA program at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management (Rotman Full-Time MBA Profile). Some days it feels as if it has been seven years, some days it feels like seven minutes. One thing is certain: Almost nothing about my life is the same. Starting an MBA program is a dramatic lifestyle change; overnight, many of the comforts and conveniences of working life go out the window, "free time" becomes a foreign concept, and sleep is hard to come by. However, once you get over the initial systemic shock and strap yourself in for the ride, it becomes difficult to imagine your life, pre-MBA. And I think you'll find you wouldn't want it any other way.
