House Emanuel Built Showing Weak Spots

Rahm Emanuel's Democratic congressional "Class of 2006" is showing signs of weakness

(Bloomberg) — Steve Kagen helped Democrats regain control of the U.S. House for the first time since Newt Gingrich's 1994 Republican Revolution by winning a political swing district in northeastern Wisconsin. He was part of the House that Rahm Emanuel built in 2006 when the then-congressman led their party in seizing 30 Republican seats. While Emanuel has returned home to plan a run for mayor of Chicago, Kagen is running for his political life.
