Airbus May Win Chinese Airline Orders by Year’s End

Airbus SAS, the world’s largest planemaker, said it may win orders from Chinese carriers in coming months as the economic recovery spurs demand for travel.

“We are hopeful of some orders before the end of the year,” John Leahy, the Toulouse, France-based company’s chief operating officer, told reporters in Hong Kong after arriving from Beijing, where he said he had been “discussing deals.”
