Nigeria’s Dangote Decides Against Arsenal Investment

Aliko Dangote, Nigeria’s richest man, said he decided against investing in English Premier League soccer team Arsenal.

The north London club’s fourth-largest shareholder, Nina Bracewell-Smith, last month asked New York-based Blackstone Group LP to find a buyer for her 15.9 percent stake. London’s Sunday Times yesterday reported that Dangote was interested in the holding, without saying where it got its information.
