REDFLYIts C8N model resembles a notebook computer, but has no processors or storage. The device connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth or USB cable and runs applications using the handset's Windows Mobile software.

WYSESells both compact desktops and a range of laptop-like devices that have processors but lack memory or hard drives. Wyse computers run Windows Mobile software and applications, and access data over corporate networks.

HPIts compact desktops run on Windows Mobile software, Linux, and HP's own proprietary operating systems. The computers have processors and some internal memory, but applications and security are controlled centrally, through the corporate network.
