Frugality, The Internet, and Smarter Shopping?

So, I’m writing more about ecommerce. (Did a story this week about how analysts are desperately trying to read the tea leaves at Amazon). I read a recent report about how online consumer behavior is shifting during these bad times. It’s something along the lines of the meme of the age of frugality. The report basically shows that people spend more time online looking up information, that in a sense they’re becoming smarter more deliberate shoppers because of the recession.
