With a new name and a second consecutive ranking as the No. 1 business school in the U.S., according to BusinessWeek, the University of Chicago Booth School of Business is a top choice of many applicants.
If the school is on your list, you wont want to miss the live chat event on Monday, Dec. 15, at noon ET with Rosemaria Martinelli, associate dean of student recruitment and admissions at Booth. She will take questions from the audience about everything from writing a stellar essay to career services in a shaky economy.
Martinelli assumed her current position as associate dean in May 2005. Before her arrival at Booth, she was director of MBA admissions and financial aid for five years at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
After spending the first 15 years of her career as a professional opera and concert singer, Martinelli received both her undergraduate and masters degrees in vocal performance from Northwestern University. She is completing her executive MBA at Chicago Booth and will graduate in March 2009.
Your host for this event will be Francesca Di Meglio (FrancescaBW), the Business Schools community manager and reporter.
Hope to see you there!
If you can't attend a live event, you can send Francesca Di Meglio (Francesca_DiMeglio@businessweek.com) questions for the guest in advance, and she'll try to pose as many as she can. Please use the subject line "Chicago Booth Chat." Or, you may simply read the transcript that we post afterward.
