Somewhere within SimCity Creator is an ambitious idea, befuddled by a lacking control scheme and irritating features. Like previous entries in the series, you get to build your ideal city. Unfortunately, getting the job done isn't easy. For instance, your Wii remote not only places objects but also controls moving the screen. As a result, items don't often go where you want them to. The supporting characters don't help either, whining about their own lives instead of lending a hand. Online functionality is decent, but half-heartedly executed. Some fans might be able to look past SimCity Creator's shortcomings, but most gamers should take their building skills elsewhere.
