Obama? Clinton? McCain? No...Crystal Pepsi

As I was watching the election coverage on MSNBC, signs were waving and waggling behind the shoulders and wind-swept hair of host Chris Matthews. Lots of Obama signs. And Hillary signs had a good showing as well. Even McCain infiltrators managed to get their signs on camera.

But my favorite was the earnest looking delegate with a hand-made sign that exhorted, BRING BACK CRYSTAL PEPSI.

For the forgetful, Crystal Pepsi was sold in the U.S. in 1992 and 93 as an answer to Sprite. It was marketed as a caffeine-free “clear alternative” to normal colas, equating clearness with purity and health.

We aren’t sure, but we heard the guy is a Mike Gravel supporter.

Before it's here, it's on the Bloomberg Terminal.
