Grameenphone's $150 million IPO could be the deal the country's been waiting for to bring in more international investors

The board of Grameenphone, Bangladesh's largest mobile phone operator, has approved a plan to go forward with a share sale that could raise as much as $300 million. It will make a formal filing with the country's Securities and Exchange Commission before the end of July and market observers say a listing could be completed in two to three months.
