Working Lunch: What kind of blog should it be?

Should Michael Orey open his new Working Lunch blog to the chomping masses?

Our colleague Michael Orey has started a blog, Working Lunch, on the meals he eats, mostly around our office in midtown Manhattan.

I was talking to him outside our coffee room last week about opening up the blog for others to contribute their lunchtime finds. Maybe he could take a page from our former colleague, Kerry Miller, whose Passive Aggressive Notes is a publicly-fed phenomenon. She gets hundreds of comments of each item, zillions of page views, got a book deal (and last I heard was vacationing in Italy).

So, the question: Should Micheal open up his blog to working lunches from everywhere, and organize them geographically? Or should he stick to his nook of midtown Manhattan, which has a sizable and hungry lunchtime population of its own?
