Online Searchers Are Big MouthsHeather Green
In a good way, I am sure. I missed this survey from BIGresearch a couple weeks ago that found that people who research a lot online are more likely than the rest to talk about products.
Do you give advice to others about products/services you have purchased? Regularly give advice: Adults who search online 47% All adults 29.4%
Occasionally give advice Adults who search online 49.8% All adults 63.4%
Never give advice Adults who search online 3.2% All adults 7.2%

So, that’s interesting. What I want to know is how do they remember what they looked up? I invariably find tons of interesting products online once I start down a rabbit hole, but then can’t for the life of me remember what they were. Of course, I know, that’s where things like Delicious should come in. But often enough, I don’t even know that I will want that information later. I am just passing the time in idle interest. Now, if something could help me backtrack my own thoughts…..
