Web standards for the blind

Good piece here from Ars Technica on IBM’s efforts to provide easier Web access for the blind. It makes more sense to draw up these standards earlier than to retrofit even more vast Web acreage later. I’ve also been posting every year or so about the importance of making iPods easily accessible for the visually impaired. Still haven’t seen much progress there.
