Managers Not MBAs
Henry Mintzberg is one of those rare complainers who actually does something about the things that upset him. As a management professor at McGill University in Montreal, he could see from his own classroom that traditional management training was not developing the most effective managers. He felt that conventional Masters of Business Administration programs were teaching students more about the science of management than the art and craft of management that really help organizations survive and thrive.
