It was just a matter of time. Yesterday, when we taped Digital Dish, our online show about the week in tech, we led the show with the idea that Yahoo was going to be bought.
Yahoo was too cheap and yet had too much value to be left alone. Microsoft is right to buy it. If it wasn’t Microsoft, it would have been private equity or Newscorp. or another more beleaguered media company looking to make a big bet.
