Can Infogrames Pick Itself Up?

Patrick Leleu, Infogrames (IFGEF) CEO, seems to think so. Earlier today, Leleu told the French newspaper Les Echos the company was on track to stabilize itself by mid-year 2008. It’s been a well-chronicled bad few years for the French company, which lost some $735 million between 1999 and 2006. In 2007, the company released no titles for PS3 or Xbox 360. Interestingly, Leleu says he’s ramping up capital spending – a special bond issue left him with about $150 million to spend – and he thinks the Atari (ATAR.O) brand name still has juice (we’ll see about that).
