Security in New Hampshire

At a time when the U.S. is at war with Al Qaeda, which is blamed (at least by some) for the Dec. 27 assassination of Benazir Bhutto, how are our presidential candidates being protected?

I was up in New Hampshire over the weekend. It was blissfully free and open, a real throwback. No sign there that 9-11 had ever happened, not to mention the shootings of the Kennedy brothers, Martin Luther King, George Wallace and Ronald Reagan. I know this is far from the theme of this blog, but candidate protection appears to be an urgent security issue.

Before it's here, it's on the Bloomberg Terminal.
