Treasury Prices Fall

Longer-dated Treasuries were trading lower Wednesday. The 10-year note was lower in price at 101-19/32 for a yield of 4.552%, while the 30-year bond was lower at 102-09/32 for a yield of 4.860%.

Action Economics reports that friendly CPI data was relatively bullish for Treasuries, though housing starts fell less than expected, but yields are trading in lock-step with early equity gains amid concerns about the inflationary fallout of the Fed's more aggressive easing yesterday.
