German Rail Strike Halted By Court

A labor court in Nuremberg ruled that the walkout can't occur until the end of September, when the peak summer holiday season is over

Germany may be spared the transport chaos it had been bracing for in the coming weeks after a court banned train drivers' union GDL from striking until the end of September. GDL says it will appeal against the ruling.
