S&P's Tech Survey: The LBO Pace Quickens

The rating agency says solid growth should continue for the IT sector, but buyouts could undercut credit quality for industry players

With a relatively stable operating environment, credit trends in the information technology sector have shifted from negative in 2006 to fairly balanced but positive in 2007. Standard & Poor's Ratings Services expects both the mid-single-digit IT growth of the past few years and the modestly positive rating trend to continue in 2007.
